Child trafficking is a terrible tragedy, especially in the developing world where uneducated girls from poor families are most likely to fall prey. Across the permeable border of Vietnam and Cambodia, traffickers target vulnerable young girls and women. 

East Meets West combats trafficking  in the Mekong Delta region with their ADAPT program. ADAPT gives women and girls school scholarships, vocational training and job placement  together with an intensive network of community support to help these girls avoid getting trapped in the trafficking industry. With better life options for these at-risk girls, life’s road need not take such a cruel turn.
